Meet Our Founders

Dr. Stephen Raab is a managing partner and the president of LambdaX3. He is also an internationally recognized expert in the field of Lean management in Healthcare, as a consultant, author, and keynote speaker. His work on evaluating and improving the delivery of healthcare has been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Raab is currently a Professor in Laboratory Medicine at Memorial University, St. John’s, NL and Chief of Laboratory Medicine at the Eastern Regional Integrated Health Authority. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA.

Dr. Karim Sirgi is a managing partner and the CEO of LambdaX3. He has assumed various leadership roles at the private group, hospital, professional society and hospital system levels, including Presidency of the largest privately-owned pathology group in the US Rocky Mountains Region, presidency of the medical staff at a tertiary care facility in Denver, Colorado, Chairmanship of the HealthOne/HCA Presidents Council, a committee of all medical staff leaders at the seven HCA-owned hospitals in Denver, presidency of the Colorado Society of Clinical Pathologists, and Medical Director of the Colorado Center for Laboratory Medical Sciences (a school of medical technology). Dr. Sirgi has been invited numerous times to lecture on organizational structure and leadership in healthcare at national meetings, seminars and workshops .
